The Mitchel Group, an Indiana corporation, is a holding company with a precision manufacturing division and a sales subsidiary within its corporate umbrella. It is impossible to emotionally separate one entity from the other. Although our sales subsidiary is a stand-alone company, our history, founders, and vision merge our existence into a unified, knowledgeable synchronization of capabilities, serving diverse manufacturing industries.

Beginning in 1933 as a precision contract manufacturer, the Company has been transformed through organic growth as well as through the acquisition of like companies. Over the years, we have been identified as Mitchel & Scott Machine Company, Bar Steel (our steel warehouse), Precision Machine Company and Tennessee Screw Machine Company (our acquired entities). We have realigned all entities under The Mitchel Group and solidified our identity through our company umbrella.
